SCRIPT

The South Carolina Rural Interdisciplinary Program of Training (SCRIPT) is a summer program that provides students in health professions degree programs in South Carolina with a 5-week interdisciplinary experience in rural communities throughout the state.
The SCRIPT program is sponsored by Lowcountry AHEC, in collaboration with Mid-Carolina, Pee Dee, and Upstate AHECs. SCRIPT is designed to:
Immerse students in rural health care.
Provide experience in rural health care settings.
Acquaint students with rural lifestyle.
Convey knowledge and appreciation for a variety of health professions disciplines. |
