Description:  This program will help the learner discuss pathophysiology, clinical presentation, and treatment modalities of common critical conditions in each of the core body stems. As well as relate the pathophysiology associated with critical illness or injury in each core body system. Correlate etiology, clinical presentation, assessment findings, and diagnostic results to common critical illnesses. Choose specific treatment modalities for critical care conditions. Discuss professional caring and ethical practice.

Credits:  AHEC: This program is approved for 1.4 CEU's (14.0 clock hours) of continuing education by Mid-Carolina AHEC and meets the SC AHEC Best Practice standards. Participants must attend 90% of the program in order to receive a certificate of attendance. No partial credit will be given.

NURSING: Mid-Carolina AHEC is approved as a provider of nursing continuing professional development by the South Carolina Nurses Association an accredited approver by the American Nurses Credentialing Center's Commission on Accreditation. This nursing continuing education activity, approval #2110-022PR-462 is approved for 14.0 hours.
