The first few minutes of trauma care are critical to achieving better patient outcomes. The ENA’s Trauma Nursing Core Course (TNCC) is widely recognized as the premier course for hospitals and trauma centers worldwide, empowering nurses with the knowledge, critical thinking skills, and hands-on training to provide expert care for trauma patients.
CREDIT: 17.65 contact hours will be awarded through the Emergency Nurses Association.
An ENA TNCC four-year provider verification card will be issued to those registered nurses who achieve 80% or higher on the multiple choice exam and 70% or higher on the skill station evaluation.
Successful completion of the course includes scoring 80% or greater on the multiple choice examination and demonstrating all critical steps and 70% of the total points in the evaluated skill station.
TARGET AUDIENCE: Emergency Department Nurses - Participants must be licensed Registered Nurses with a minimum of six months experience in an emergency care setting.
Participants must attend 90% of the program in order to receive a certificate of attendance. No partial credit will be given.
$175.00 Consortium members - must register through the Staff Development Director at your facility.
$375.00 Non-Consortium members - registration fee must accompany registration form.
Registration fee is non-refundable. Substitutions are permitted. Maximum class capacity of 12 participants. No On-Site Registration.
