SC HIV, STD and Viral Hepatitis Conference

The SC HIV, STD & Viral Hepatitis Conference has been canceled due to the Corona Virus

As always, our Conference’s priority is the health and safety of our planning committee, attendees, exhibitors, sponsors, speakers, volunteers and our communities. As the COVID-19 pandemic unfolds, it has become clear that we need to make tough choices for the good of all involved.

Therefore, we are canceling the 2020 South Carolina HIV, STD and Viral Hepatitis Conference.

2020 will mark the first time in nearly four decades that we will not be hosting our annual conference. Our conference brings together hundreds of passionate public health service providers, community members, community advocates, students, exhibitors and sponsors to celebrate accomplishments, build and engage networks and share emerging trends.

Our intended theme of this year’s conference was, “2020 Vision: Focusing on What Matters” and indeed, during this very challenging and uncertain time, we must focus on what matters - our collective health - so that we may live to advocate, teach, learn, help, collaborate, network and serve others another day.

We hope that day is not too far away, and we will be looking forward to joining you all for our next conference tentatively scheduled for October 20 & 21, 2021.

As always, we wish you and yours continued health, happiness and hope.
