Program Description: This program will discuss the epidemiology, risk factors and define common terms used when discussing sepsis. You will get a review of the pathophysiology of sepsis, how it is identified, what tests are used for diagnosis and what is included in the medical management. At the completion of the program, the learner will manifest increased knowledge of the development and treatment of Sepsis and Septic Shock patients based on current guidelines in literature.
