necessary education and best practices related to the unique
needs of vulnerable populations in rural SC, as well as specific
health disparities present in our state.
At the completion of this program, the participant will be able to:
• Identify demographics and related characteristics of vulnerable
populations in rural South Carolina.
• Verbalize at least three health disparities experienced by
vulnerable populations in rural South Carolina.
• Identify at least one community strength or resource they can
use when engaging with patients or clients in need.
